• Thursday Morning Bible Study meets from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with topics ranging from focusing on a particular book of the Bible to exploring various methods of interpreting scripture. Learning about other faiths and discussing different areas of theology and issues of faith in today’s world are also included.
• Sunday MorningClass, Connections, provides a variety of opportunities on Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 9:45 to get connected with God and one another while exploring biblical, theological and other faith topics. Topics for study and discussion are often participant-driven and offered in response to questions expressed during previous Connections sessions or to members of the Christian Education Committee. We have had guest speakers share their Hindu, Jewish and Muslim faith and guest speakers who are well known theologians and biblical scholars enlighten us with the latest in their respective fields of study. New Member Classes
Anyone interested in membership at Emanuel is invited to participate in a series of classes led by the pastor and other leaders of the congregation.  Topics include the core beliefs of the Christian faith, the history and teachings of the Lutheran Church and the ministry and mission of Emanuel.  For more information contact the church office at 860-525-0894 or office@emanuelhartford.org.
