AdultsCONNECTIONS: We invite you to "GET CONNECTED WITH GOD AND EACH OTHER!"
Join us on Sunday mornings, beginning September 12, from 9:00 to 9:45 for Connections, a time for learning and growing in our faith together through various educational offerings.
September 12 though October 3: "Exploring our Neighbor's Faith" Based on the book Honoring Our Neighbor's Faith we will look at an overview of the Jewish, Muslim and Hindu faiths, comparing and contrasting these faiths to the Christian Lutheran faith. Suresh Shenoy, past director of the Hindu Temple in Middletown, director of the Connecticut Council for Interreligious Understanding and lecturer in World Religions at Quinnipiac University, will speak on the Hindu faith; Dan Nussbaum, a rabbi who is also the Dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies at Saint Joseph College, will speak on the Jewish faith; and a speaker from the Muslim Speaker's Bureau will share his faith.
Bible study is offered on Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Currently we are studying the book of Colossians.
