Here's What's Going On!

     The Confirmation students finished their study of the Ten Commandments during the last week of January and have entered the season of Lent with a newly discovered sense of our sinful human nature . . . and a gratefulness that God's laws are not the only Word God speaks to us! We learned that we can love and trust God above anything else and that we can learn to let go of ourselves and start giving our lives for others.

     All confirmation families have received a letter explaining confirmation responsibilities during Lent. Like last year, instead of holding class in the gym, we will meet in Luther Hall during Lent.

Spring Retreat!
     The time is almost here (March 28-30) when we will retreat to beautiful Incarnation Center in Ivoryton, CT. Besides having lots of fun, we will be laying a critical foundation for our spring confirmation study of Martin Luther and the Reformation.

     For all the details, please refer to the letter that was mailed early February.

     We need help transporting gear to and from the retreat center. If you have a van or truck and are willing to help transport gear either direction, give me a call or send me and email. The drive is 45 minutes one way.
