Sunday School Pre-K through 5th Grade

During the school year, children from pre-k (age 3) to Grade 5 are welcome to participate in Sunday School. They will be dismissed from worship at the appropriate time. During the summer months, we offer a Children’s Message in addition to the sermon.

Emanuel’s Sunday School Education Objectives:

• Provide biblically-based classes that communicate God’s love for everyone, no matter what.

• Help the children to know Jesus as kind and caring.

• Reinforce lessons with activities, materials, and a church community that model the caring ways of Jesus Christ

• Increase awareness of God’s loving presence in Baptism and, for older elementary students, in God’s presence in Holy Communion and the forgiveness of sins.
